Announcing the My Worthington Memory Makers Contest Winners The results for the fall 2004 My Worthington Memory Makers Contest are in! Congratulations to the following students in Mrs. Riggs' and Mrs. Hoffman's third grade class for their first place entry: Olivia, Rachel, Ben, Kevin, Clare, Kaylyn, Taylor, James, Zach, Max, Mark, Ali, Mary Beth, Melanie, and Austin! Tell Us Your Story: FolkFEST 2001 Worthington Libraries invited the community to tell stories of their earliest memories and fondest recollections of life in Worthington at the Worthington FolkFEST, July 28, 2001. This exhibit features audio recordings from the event. Bicentennial School Projects The items featured in this exhibit are Bicentennial projects made possible through the Worthington Bicentennial Teachers' Grants. Worthington Sesquicentennial - 1953 Worthington's Sesquicentennial was celebrated October 5-11, 1953. Take a step back in time and see how Worthington celebrated its 150th birthday. Worthington Bicentennial Celebration See how the community of Worthington showed its pioneering spirit throughout the yearlong Bicentennial Celebration with signature events that honored the past and will create a legacy for the future. |
