Abstract: The Worthington Civic Ballet and Youtheatre’s 32nd annual spring concert, “Children of the World” and “Ticket to Broadway” featured a variety of ballet, jazz, and tap performances. “Children of the World” included multi-cultural dance styles; American Tappers, Arabian Scarf Dancers, Armenian Duet, English Maypole Dance, French Court Ladies, Italian Tarantella, Norwegian Gypsies, Polka Dolls, Russian Maidens, Spanish Maidens, and Swiss Wind-Up Doll. Performances from the following Broadway musicals comprised “Ticket to Broadway”; Annie, Anything Goes, Carousel, Cats, A Chorus Line, Don’t Bother Me I Can’t Cope, Fiddler on the Roof, Flower Drum Song, The Music Man , No, No, Nanette!, On the 20th Century, The Pajama Game, The Phantom of the Opera, Pippin, The Sound of Music, South Pacific, Sweet Charity, You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, West Side Story, and The Wiz.
