Abstract: This building housed the original offices of the Worthington Parks and Recreation and Engineering Departments, sign shop and recreation storage area. The Department of Parks and Recreation was created in 1975. In 1977 a new Community Center was built at the location to fulfill a need for expanded recreation services and facilities in the community.
