Barbara Thomas, age 89, a longtime resident of Portsmouth, OH, passed away on October 3, 2017 at Alden Estates of Naperville, IL. She was born June 17, 1928 in Portsmouth, OH. Barbara is survived by her loving children Richard (Carol) Heil, Deborah Lynch, Barbara Taylor, and Andrew (Bonnie) Watts; her sister Mary Janet Hayslip; and her many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Helen and Homer Sheets; her brother Jack Sheets;and her sisters Doris and Clara Louise. Barbara was active in PTA while her children were in school and later worked as an interior designer. She spent many years providing loving care to her invalid mother. She will be dearly missed.
