Anna Belle Ruffner Wikle, age 87, of South Bat Dr., Fredericktown, died Sunday afternoon at the scene of an automobile accident on Polaris Parkway near Columbus. Mrs. Wikle was born December 3, 1906 in Columbus, the daughter of Joseph A. and Bertha (Wilson) Beaver and had been a Fredericktown resident for 20 years. She lived many years in Delaware and was employed by the Ohio Wesleyan University, and a 50 year member of the George L. Behrens Chapter #504 of the OES. Survived by husband Carl Wikle; daughter Patricia Ruffner Nash, Avon Lake, Oh.; step-daughter Patricia Reeded, Butler, Oh.; step-son Paul M. Ruffner, Kenner, La.; 2 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 11 great-step-grandchildren; brother Burt Beaver, Cottonwood, Ariz.; preceded in death by 1st husband J. Morgan Ruffner, sister Hazel Henderson, & brother J. Wilson Beaver. Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 11-1 pm at the Snyder Funeral Home, Fredericktown. Graveside service will be held Thursday 2:30 pm in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Worthington. Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Wikle's name to the Ohio Wesleyan University in the c/o her family or left at the funeral home.
