WOLFE Elizabeth "Beth" Riley Wolfe, age 74, of Worthington, Ohio. Graduate of Athens High School, Athens, Ohio, 1943. Cum Laude BA graduate of Ohio University, 1947, where she was a member of Ohio Alpha of Pi Beta Phi. Formerly a language teacher at Greenfield Community College and Greenfield High School, Greenfield, Massachusetts, and a volunteer in the Columbus, Ohio school system, she was a sustaining member of Phi Beta Kappa. A lifelong Republican activist, she was past president of The Worthington Republican Women's Club and a founding member and past president of The Worthington Area Republican Club. She was a a member and past vice president of Golden K Kiwanis Club and a member of The Worthington Women's Club. Daughter of the late Grace Reeder Riley and Dwight Alban Riley Sr. She was preceded in death by a brother Dwight Alban Riley Jr. She leaves a husband of 54 years, William B. Wolfe of Worthington; a daughter, Elizabeth L. Wolfe of Columbus; a son, Byron D. Wolfe (Carla) of Villa Hills, Kentucky; two granddaughters and a great-grandson. Calling hours will be held from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at the RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON, CHAPEL, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio. Burial Service from The Book of Common Prayer, Rite 1, will be read by the Rev. W. Edge Dixon at the Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St., Worthington, at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Interment immediately following the service in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Hospice at Riverside Hospital, 3595 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214.
