Gertrude M. Witt, age 80, of Gahanna, Monday. Retired matron, Columbus State School. Survived by 2 daughters Ruth Blano, Brunswick, Oh., Marjorie (Richard) Lowe, Gahanna, Oh.; sister Evelyn Ferguson, Columbus, Oh.; brother Stanley Webb, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces & a nephew. She was a member of Mifflin Presbyterian Chruch. Funeral service 10 a.m. Thursday, Margarum-Schoedinger Chapel, 335 Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. Pastor John J. Manos officiating. Friends may call Tuesday 7-9 p.m., Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment Flint Cemetery. Friends may ,if they wish, contribute to the American Cancer Society.
