Bessie E. (Riling) Melson, age 81, of Delaware, Friday, July 26, 1991. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph F. Melson; daughter, Deloris Rivers; stepson, Robert Melson. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Opal and Chuck Hopper; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae (Tom) Wilson, Grace (Norm) Syfers, Alma (Dick) Battstone and Dorothy Teel; brother, Charles (Frances) Riling. Member Hyatts Pocahontas Lodge Sago No. 32. Funeral service 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High Street, Worthington. Pastor Richard Eader officiating.
