Charles Walcutt Pinney, eldest son of Capt. William Pinney, died at the home of his father Saturday July 8, after an illness of but a few weeks. He leaves to mourn their loss a father, stepmother, two sisters, three brothers, a little daughter Elizabeth, two years of age , and a host of friends. His wife died only five months ago. Mr. Pinney was a young man, being 23 years old. He was a favorite among his friends, being kind hearted and always ready to lend a helping hand. Funeral services were held at the family residence Monday afternoon conducted by Rev. Good, of the _____Avenue M. E. church, Columbus.
