David W. Hlays, age 57 of Worthington, Saturday September 10, 1997 at Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by parents James and Eleanor Hays; brother John. Survived by wife Shirley; children, Tammy (Chris) Wiley, Terri (Tim) Barnes, David Hays; grandchildren, Patrick, Laramy, Carissa and Timbre; great-grandcholdren Chloe; brothers, Jim, Bill, Bob, Rodger and Tom; sisters Rita, Jo Anne, Roberta and Joy; aunt, Delores Spratley; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Member Jersey Baptist Church. Funeral service 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. John Hays Officiating. Family will receive friends Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery.
