Hazel M. Downing, age 84, formerly of 4336 Karl Road, Thursday, Whetstone Convalescent Center. Widow of Lowell A. Downing. Survived by sister Mrs. Cora Buckwald and Mrs. Stellar Rizor; niece, Mrs. Joan Brokaw, all of Columbus; great-niece, Mrs. Terry Boike, Hillsboro, Oh.; great nephew, Jim Brokaw of Columbus. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. Rev W. Edge Dixon officiating. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 and 79 p.m. Friday.
