Joan M. Moore, age 49, of 174 E. New England Avenue., Worthington, Friday, September 10, 1982 at home. She was account clerk for the Auditing Dept., OSU. Survived by husband, Charles A. Moore; daughter, Diane Petry, Columbus; brothers, J. Phillip Battles, Beaver Creek, Ohio, James B. Battles, Columbus. Member Worthington United Methodist Church. Former area Association Chairman, Girl Scouts of America. Service 11:30 a.m. Monday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Dr. W. Edge Dixon officiating. Interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Contributions may be made to Columbus Cancer Clinic.
