Maude S. Blackard, 97, of Columbus, Thursday, April 22, 1999 at Whetstone Convalescent Center. Survived by daughter, Velma (Bunny) Maxwell; grandchildren, Gary Maxwell of Phoenix, Ariz, and Becky (Chuck) Holman; great-grandchildren Charlie, Amy, and Matthew Holman, all of Bakersfield, Calif. Funeral service 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 1999 with Rev. Edge Dixon officiating at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, Worthington Chapel, 515 High St. Worthington where friends may call 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Private interment Walnut Grove Cemetery. Donation may be made in Maude's memory to the Hospice at Grant/Riverside, 3535 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio.
