Survived by wife, Margaret; son, Ralph Newkirk of Columbus dither, Mrs. Voldermar (Linda) Jalakas of Duvall, Washington. Veteran of WWII. Member of American Legion Post No. 237, 40 et 8, VFW Post No. 3297, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1167, Am Vets Post No. 104. Funeral service 3 p.m. Wednesday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday.
