Ruth B. (Strous) Stroupe, age 100, Columbus, September 26, 1992 at Arlington Court Nursing Home. Widow of Howard E. Stroupe. Preceded in death by sons, Edwin and Howard Jr. Survived by daughters, Betty (Mrs. James) Irwin, of Timonium, Md., Eileen (Mrs. Richard) Haxby, of Salt Springs, Fla.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Charter member North Community Lutheran Church. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 30, 1992, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington. Pastor Robert Trump officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Burial Walnut Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the North Community Lutheran Church Memorial Fund.
