Washington E. Robe, age 85, of 255 E. Longview Ave., Thursday, Mt. Carmel Hospital. Retired Livestock Dealer, South Charleston, O., more recently retired Associate Nationwide Insurance Co. Survived by wife, Adila Busler Robe; son, Bruce B. Robe, of Potomac, Md.; daughters, Mrs. John (Luella) Hilt, Springfield, O., Mrs. R.W. (Eleanor) Kilbourn, Deerborn, Mich., Mrs W.A. (Phyllis) James, of Worthington, O., Mrs. R.T. (Ruth) Rudduck, Toledo, O.; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grand child. Preceded in death by 1 grand child; sisters, Mrs. David Holland, Miss Myrtle Robe, Mrs. Howard Postesel, all of Dayton, Mrs. Calvin Stickles, Detroit, Michigan. Member of North Broadway United Methodist Church. Funeral services, 1:30 p.m. Monday, RUTHERFORD-CORBIN CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, Rev. William E. Smith officiating. Burial, Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Rutherfords, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund of North Broadway United Methodist Church.
