William H. Ray of Worthington, Wednesday, November 10, 1982, Grant Hospital. Retired from Timken Roller Bearing Co., after 32 years. Survived by wife Elsie; son Edward (Geraldine), Ontario, Calif.; daughter Rochelle (John) Thornton, Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren Edward A. Ray, Jr., Timothy, & Ardell Thornton; brother Burnam; sisters Lourilla Anderson, Mary Ingram, Evelyn Allman, Hazel Beasley, Vernita Lee, & Helena Love; numerous nieces, nephews, & friends. Member of Local 2173, United Steel Workers of America. Funeral service 8 pm Friday, November 12, 1982 from the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St., Worthington. Rev. Thomas E. Liggins officiating.
