The 1945 season was the most successful for the Cardinals since 1938, with an offensive average of 21.75 points per game. Worthington shared the County League championship with Grove City. The Worthington Savings Bank sponsored the printing of the schedule. Worthington Savings Bank was established in 1893 and with offices established at 684 High Street in 1900.
