"Old" City Hall
Basic details
Background
Worthington City Hall was located next to the northwest quadrant of the Village Green where the Griswold Center now stands. This was the first building that the City of Worthington constructed specifically for municipal government. Worthington acheived city status in 1954 with the annexation of the Colonial Hills subdivision, which increased the population to 5,000. Worthington's first City Hall was built that year.
