Background
The starting twelve for Worthington High School's football team in the fall of 1945 is pictured; (front l to r) Jim Sheaf, Tom Hartman, Francis Zeigler, Bill Lindimore, Sam Harsh, Perry Strickland, and Bill Hamilton; (back row l to r) Earl Nash, Jim Mills, Don Russell, Gary Carle, and Joe Neds. The team's season was the most successful since 1938. They had a record of with six wins, one tie, and one loss with an offensive average of 21.75 points per game.
