Worthington School Bus
Basic details
Background
This 1937 photograph of a Worthington School District bus was taken by a student of Worthington Schools in front of 130 West Wilson Bridge Road across from the present site of Worthington Square Mall. As the photographer recalls, the 1929 Ford was the only bus for all 12 grades. Walter Richards (b. 1881, d. 1944) was the school bus driver. There were two bus routes; one went east and south, the other west, south, and north.
