Grayce Eva N. Phillips, age 65, of 119 E. Kanawha Avenue, Columbus, Tuesday Riverside Hospital. Private secretary to the last Jimmy Michus at the Deshler-Walich Hotel. Survived by husband, Melvin A. Phillips; brothers, Irvin and David Carney, both of Fla.; sister, Mrs. Violet Dillon, Leesburg, Fla.; uncle, Robert Gillhousen, Fla.; aunt, Mrs. Pearl Steen, Pasadena, Calif..; sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Phillips, both Worthington; 2 nephews; 4 nieces. She spent 2 years in Calif. As secretary to the wife of singer Lawrence Tibit, was a model for the Madonna in the Stand Glass Rose Window in the Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Wilshire Blvd. in Los Angles, Calif. Attended Meredith College, Zanesville, Ohio. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Friday Rutherford-Corbin Chapel, 515 High Street, Worthington. Burial, Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends will be received at Rutherford-Corbin 1-3 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday.
