William R. Samuel, age 86, formerly of Westerville, Ohio, Friday at Ohio Pythian Home, Springfield. Veteran of WWI. Member of American Legion Post No. 171, Blendon Grange No. 708, K of P, I.O.O.F. Survived by son, Edgar, of Westerville; daughters, Mrs. Helen Carpenter, of New Albany, Mrs. Claribel Harlan, New Albany, Mrs. Margaret Jewett, Worthington, MRs. Marjorie Parks, Columbus; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the HILL FUNERAL HOME, 220 S. State St., Westerville, 7-9 p.m. where service will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Entombment Walnut Grove Mausoleum. Rev. Maurice Martindale officiating. Grange service 9 p.m. Sunday.
