The photo is taken from the north and shows the Worthington Community Center in the background. It shows large areas of dirt where existing facilities had been cleared away to make room for the new design. As shared in the City's Facebook post, the work reflects the first month of construction on Phase II renovations at the park, including demolition, clearing of the asphalt parking lot and preparation and leveling of the ground for the construction of new ball diamonds and a restroom/storage facility.

The renovated park, which opened on April 1, 2024, included improvements such as baseball diamonds with artificial turf, netted backstops, dugouts and new fencing; a new multi-use path; and new restrooms and storage facilities.
