Background
This photograph depicts a scene involving the White Queen's Games from the "Alice though the Looking Glass" ballet, based on Lewis Carroll's classic children's book Alice in Wonderland. The Worthington Civic Ballet and Youtheatre's 1996 production featured elaborate costumes that were designed and hand made by director Barbara Burrows, based on the original Lewis Carroll illustrations.
