Rabbi Gary Huber and his daughter are pictured taking part in annual tree planting. Gary Huber became the spiritual leader of Congregation Beth Tikvah in the autumn of 1983. He had previously served as the assistant rabbi at a congregation in St. Louis, where he had grown up. The search committee that selected him was impressed by his serious intellectual interests and his expressed willingness to minister to congregants.
