Background
Annual Friends of the Library book sales were held in conjunction with Old Worthington Market Day beginning in 1972. This photograph was taken at the second annual event on the Village Green in September 1973. Other features of Old Worthington Market Day that year included the annual Worthington Historical Society Flea Market, a side walk art show sponsored by the Worthington Art League, as well as village merchants.
