Background
Community picnics preceded each living history presentation of the 2003 Ohio Chautauqua on the front lawn of Thomas Worthington High School. Each of the five day Chautauqua series featured adult workshops, children's activities, pre-show picnics and entertainment, followed by the main attraction; scholar actors performing first-person accounts of notable personalities from Ohio's frontier days.
