The seventh annual Community Spelling Bee sponsored by Leadership Worthington took place at Worthington Kilbourne High School in February 2000. Schoeding Funeral Services team took first place over 24 competing teams. Mark Emerson, Kerry Pathy and Judy Corbin were on the first place team. The Worthington Adult Spelling Bee has been held annually since 1993.
