John B. Flint, Vice Chairperson of the Granby Board of Selectmen, presented a Resolution of Congratulations from Granby, Connecticut and a plaque to Worthington City Council President and Bicentennial Steering Committee Co-Chair, Dr. Lou Goorey during the opening ceremonies of the 2002 Founders Day Festival. Student Jenny Listen introduced Mr. Flint, who was presented with gifts of a framed photograph of Granby Elementary School Granby and a Worthington Flag.
