Heritage Ball
Basic details
Background
The Worthington Community Center was transformed into an elegant dining room and ballroom for the Bicentennial Heritage Ball in February 2003. The dinner was catered by Shane's Gourmet Market, who designed a menu of foods typical of early 1800s fare, such as butternut squash soup and roast quail. The event, organized by the Worthington Educational Foundation and the Worthington Bicentennial Committee was planned to be the first of many annual fundraising events for the Worthington Educational Foundation.
