The Wilson Hill Elementary School Parent Teacher Organization' float entry in the Worthington Bicentennial Homecoming Parade was entitled "Not on the Green, You Don't!" The float's theme was the various laws governing use of the Village Green in Worthington for sports and leisure activities. A law dating to 1885 which prohibited playing ball of any type on the Village Green is represented by a young player sitting in jail, whose penalty would have been to serve 20 days for the crime.
