The Horizon Club of Campfire Girls Presents Irwin Johnson in the "Early Worm" Show with Aaron Cohen Pianist
Basic details
Background
Irwin Johnson, the "Early Worm" morning radio star of WBNS during the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s performed with pianist and entertainer Aaron Cohen at the Worthington Elementary School auditorium in the spring of 1946 to help the Wonder chapter of the Horizon Club of Camp Fire Girls raise money. The Worthington Camp Fire Girls conducted a large publicity campaign, including placards, posters, jingles to be sung over public address systems, hand bills, and "teaser" buttons. This program for the show was also created by the Worthington Camp Fire Girls, under direction of Martha McConagha (b. 1914, d. 1992).
