In 1956 the Worthington Public Library building, located adjacent to the Village Green at 752 High Street, was expanded. It is shown here following completion. Features of the renovated library included a new children's room, known as the Kilbourne Room, as well as a meeting room made available for use by community groups, known as the Worthington Room.
