Background
Soon after the official proclamation to become Twin Clubs, the Dublin-Worthington Rotary Club began discussing ways to help the Rotary Club Santiago de los Caballeros, Inc. with their construction of a new medical clinic in Barrio Lindo, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The DWRC ultimately provided partial financial support, and a group of volunteers consisting of Rotarians and local high school students travelled to the Dominican Republic to help paint the new building. This photograph shows the finished clinic.
