Northwest Library opened on April 16, 1996. It is operated jointly by the Worthington Libraries and the Columbus Metropolitan Library. It was the first library in Ohio and only the second in the country to be built and operated by two library systems.
Children's Book Week is an annual national celebration that promotes literacy.
