Our Tribute to Leonard Insley: More Memoirs of His Relationship with Bill Moose
Basic details
Background
This newsletter of the Linworth Historical Society (August 2010) is the third in a series reprinting excerpts from Leonard Insley's memoirs of his friendship with Bill Moose. Insley founded "The Worthington News," in 1925 and served as its editor until 1952. From 1933-1943 he was mayor of Worthington. Bill Moose is widely regarded as the last member of the Wyandot people to live in Central Ohio. The first two installments of the series were printed in the January and April 2010 newsletters.
