The Senior Class of Worthington High School Presents "The Night of January 16th": A Comedy-Drama in Three Acts by Ayn Rand
Basic details
Background
The senior play for the Worthington High School class of 1941 involved audience participation. Twelve members of the audience were called upon to serve as impromptu cast members of a jury, given the problem of deciding innocence or guilt of the leading cast member who portrayed a person on trial. Audience members elected to have their names added to a list of potential mock jurors. At the beginning of the performance twelve audience members were called upon to come up on the stage and decide upon the verdict. The audience jury deliberated between acts and rendered a verdict at the end of the third act.
