The Sharon Township Fire Department is pictured at its former location on the west side of High Street north of the Village Green. Many of the department's emergency vehicles are parked out front. According to a history of the fire department written by Theron H. Wright in 1960, the department's fleet consisted of two triple combination trucks, one quintuple combination with 65 foot aerial ladder (pictured here far right), a fire squad, and a squad car.
