Background
This brochure features information about the Worthington Public Library's services at the tail end of the 1960s. In 1968 the library circulated 250,978 books and 10,626 audio visual items. The photograph pictured shows the James Kilbourne Memorial Library following the 1956 building expansion which increased the size of the children's area substantially. Floor plans are also included. The building is located at 752 High Street adjacent to the Village Green. The library moved to a new building at 805 Hartford Street in 1979.
