John M Adams Jr, age 83 passed away on Sunday, June 11th at his home in Columbus, Ohio. John was born December 21, 1933 in Mt. Sterling, KY to the late John and Elizabeth Adams. John was an avid golfer and enjoyed a good game of cards, and he also played softball into his late sixties. John was a veteran of the US Navy and served his country during the Korean War. As a retired carpenter his skills were always in demand and he found it difficult to say no to anyone. John was an active member of The Elks and a huge fan of the Cincinnati Bengals. John is preceded in death by his parents John and Elizabeth Adams, brother Billy, and sister Lacy Earl. John is survived by loving wife of 62 years, Delphia Mae Adams, daughter's Linda, Joann, and Sharon, grandson John (Jessica-children, Jacob, Brady, Chloe, and Liam), great granddaughter Iris and siblings Bobby Jake, Tommy, Marcella, and Rebecca. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 8th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beechwold Christian Church 280 Morse Rd Columbus, OH 43214.
