BAKER Jeanne Worley Baker, age 87, of Worthington, died March 25, 2012 at home after over a two year battle with cancer. Born January 7, 1925 in Mansfield, Ohio to the late Ralph and Mary Worley, she was also preceded in death by great-granddaughter Annabelle Losee. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 1/2 years, Daniel; daughters, Linda (Harold) Miller, Nanette Baker, and Nancy (Robert) Losee; step-sister Dorothy (Clay) Mentzer; cousins, Mary Ellen Ernsberger and Pat Rottman; grandchildren, Rob, Melissa, Amy, Michael, Jeffrey, Christopher; and 13 great-grandchildren. Jeanne graduated from Mansfield Senior High School and Wittenberg University where she was a member of the Alpha Xi Delta Sorority. She was a private piano teacher, taught instrumental music in Mansfield City Schools, and retired as an elementary music teacher from Columbus City Schools. Jeanne has been a longtime member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, Ohio with Reverend Amy Hampton, officiating.
