William “Skip” Bowens, 57, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2017. Skip was preceded in death by his parents, Marion Jack and Norma Bowens, son, Ryan Bowens, siblings, Aaron and Pam Bowens, and brother-in-law, Shawn Stephenson. Skip is survived by his wife, Chrystal Bowens, sons, James “JD” Dunham and Jonathon Harvey, grandchildren, Isabella, Austin, Jordan and Jenna, siblings, Gary (Debbie) Bowens, Rosetta Mills, Jackie (Julie) Bowens and Angel (Kenneth) Lester, sister-in-law Rachel (John) Clapper, 15 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews, and numerous brothers and sisters from our extended family. Skip did not know a stranger, so he had friends wherever he went. Skip loved riding and working on his motorcycle, spending time with his family and great friends. Skip was there for anyone who needed help and was very loyal to his family and friends that showed him respect. Skip’s smile and laughter could light up a room. A visitation for Skip will be held at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High St, Worthington, OH, from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday, August 24, 2017. A procession will be leaving the funeral home at 1:30 pm, on Friday, August 25, 2017 and will be going to Flint Cemetery for a graveside service.
