Ajia-Maria (Ajia) Nadia Cannon was born in Columbus, Ohio on April 19, 1993 to Ronaldo Duane Cannon and Maria Isabella Cannon. She was unexpectedly taken from us at the young age of 27, on Sunday, July 19, 2020.
She graduated with a 4.0 GPA from Dublin Scioto High School in Dublin, Ohio. She was a stellar athlete and student. She played basketball, field-hockey, lacrosse and tennis. Ajia was a loving, free spirited, beautiful young lady who made a friend wherever she went. She enjoyed travel, being with family and friends, and being the ever encourager of others.
Ajia was proceeded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents. She is survived by her loving parents, Ronaldo and Maria Cannon, her six siblings, Rachelle Cannon, Parris (Alison) Payden, Amara (Mike) Duderstadt, Marques (Lizneida) Cannon, Miguel (Liz) Cannon and Juan (Tori) Cannon; her closest cousin, Daniel (Big Bro) Taylor, III; her precious nieces and nephews; a host of loving aunts and uncles, cousins, close loved ones and friends.
She was affectionately known to family and friends as Binky and her sister, Amara called her Taj. Ajia was baptized at a young age by her grandfather, Rev. Leon H. Brown at Mountain Top Missionary Church in Dublin, Ohio. Ajia-Maria will truly be missed by her mother and father, her sisters and brothers and entire family and friends. Rest in Peace, Ajia “Binky”…we love you!
