CHERWINSKI Daniel G. Cherwinski, age 79, of Worthington, passed away October 3rd, 2008 at Forest Hills Center. He was born April 7, 1929 in Cudahy, WI to the late Nicholas and Julia Cherwinski. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Ross Laboratories engineering department after 20 years, and previously worked for Fruehauf Jaeger Machine, North American, and Westinghouse. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of 51 years; daughter, Beth; grandchildren, Sydney and Alexandria Welter; son, James (Karla); grandchildren, Nicholas and Stella; nieces and nephews. He will be missed by everyone that knew and loved him. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME, 4476 N. High St. (two blocks north of Henderson Rd.) 268-8811 where his Memorial Service will be held at 5 pm.
