Carrol Hurst Chiles, 67, of Worthington, Monday, November 3, 1997 at Karrington Place. Survived by husband, Bob; children, Ann (Don) Wheat, Jill (Frank) Slicer, Susan (Doug) Talbott, Kristin (Dave) Markay; 9 grandchildren; brother, Bill Hurst; other relatives and friends. Member of the Worthington United Methodist Church. She lived out her love of children as a teacher and practiced her faith as an active participant in the church. Carrol profoundly touched the lives of her family and friends with the strength of her love and the quality of her character. Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8 at Worthington United Methodist Church, 600 High St. Rev. Alan Seppel officiating. Friends may call 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 High St. Worthington and from 9:30 a.m. until serice time at the church on Saturday. Burial Flint Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be given in care of W.U.M.C. and will be used in Carrol's memory for ministry in Lithuania, whereDris and Dave are Missionaries.
