HOWELL Carolyn M. Howell, 70, June 23, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She graduated from White Cross School of Nursing and was an office nurse for the late Carl Roth MD several years before her marriage in 1961. Carolyn was a long-time member of Indianola Presbyterian Church where she was active in the Chancel Choir and served several terms as an Elder. A devoted homemaker, she was an accomplished musician and avid bridge player. She is survived by her husband, Rate Howell; and daughters, Melanie Pullins of Phoenix, Ariz. and Jennifer Howell of Worthington. She is also survived by her sister, Genevieve Martin of Hilliard; brother, Charles (Janet) Menkel of Charlotte, NC; two nephews, four nieces and special friends, Helen Patterson and Carolyn Roth. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. (614)885-4006. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at Indianola Presbyterian Church, 1970 Waldeck Avenue, Columbus, Oh. 43201. The Rev. Susan Warrener-Smith officiating.
