Mary E. (Grau) Hubbard, age 84, passed peacefully at her home in Worthington, OH, surrounded by her family, on January 7, 2021. Mary was a graduate of Heidelberg University and The Ohio State University. She was a retired teacher with Columbus Public Schools, a member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Add-A-Friend church group, and the Overbrook Church Choir. She was also a member of Wally Byam Caravan Club Int’l serving as a former First Lady and Secretary with the Columbus Unit, and a former member of Worthington Squares, Roadrunners, and Ohio Square Campers. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George F. Hubbard; daughters, Cheryl Lynn Hubbard and Nancy (Jeff) Byron; granddaughters, Emily and Cassidy Byron; and sister, Lucille (Howard) Gilliland. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Bertha Grau; and sister, Dorothy Ann Burton. A private graveside service will be held at Flint Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be held later at Overbrook Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Overbrook Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or a charity of your choice.
