JACOBS Linda Lee (Snodgrass) Jacobs, age 68, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at her home. She was born on March 2, 1942 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Wendell Dane and Mable (Moore) Snodgrass. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Richard "Dick" Carlton Jacobs who passed in March of this year. Linda worked for many years at Columbus Coal and Lime Company. Linda's favorite pastime was shopping; she enjoyed it so much that her family would say she keeps Macy's, Kohl's, and Rogers Jewelers in business! She also enjoyed learning about Native Americans, especially the Cherokee and Lakota tribes; Linda read books, watched movies, attended Pow Wows and even had some of her home decorated in Native American decor. Linda was a natural caretaker with a great sense of humor, she was a people person! Survivors include her children, Tami (Bill) Brauner, and David (Lois) Jacobs; step-children, Rodney Jacobs, and Vicki Jacobs; grandchildren, Ricky Jacobs, Cassidy Brauner, Liz Brauner, Ted Jacobs, and Jimmy Jacobs; sisters, Susie (Glenn) Heckard, Karen Schiller, and Yvonne (Darrel) Cheesebrew; and numerous nieces and nephews. Broad St. Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church, 2364 W. Mound St., Columbus. Fr. Homer Blubaugh, Celebrant.
