LARESE Joseph William Larese passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 18, 2012 at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann's Hospital. Born 9/29/1936 to the late Joe and Florrie Larese at Windsor Heights, WV. Also preceded in death by brother George. Graduated Wellsburg High School, WV. Attended Davis and Elkins College, Elkins, WV, on a baseball scholarship, where he earned his electrical engineering degree and a tryout with the Cleveland Indians. Member for 50 years University Lodge #631 F&AM. Member of Rotary International and a Paul Harris Fellow, York Golf Club, the Electric Golf League and a long- time member of Worthington Presbyterian Church. Retired 1996 as Senior Vice President for Electric Motor and Control Corporation (EMCORP) after 40 years of service. Survived by wife of 55 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Larese; daughter, Dottie Hursey; son and daughter-in-law, Colonel (Ret) Scott and Julie Larese; also daughter, Traci (Kevin) Longenbaker; granddaughters, Grace and Gabrielle Hursey, Allison and Andrea Larese, Ashley and Carrie Longenbaker; in-laws, Carol Larese, Dr. Michael and Judy Lukowski; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday.
